The data is then used by remote users through Grafana to view and use the data.
Responsibilities.
* Maintain and troubleshoot the data server, including software packages such as Node-RED, Linux Mint, MySQL, Grafana, and WireGuard.
* Perform regular system updates, security monitoring, and optimisation to ensure smooth operation.
* Collaborate with the team to address any server-related issues or performance concerns promptly.
Requirements.
* Proficiency in Node-RED, Linux Mint, MySQL, Grafana, and WireGuard.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Availability to respond to occasional tasks and emergencies as needed.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with remote users and team members effectively.
Preferred Qualifications.
* Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and measurements.
* Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
* Knowledge of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices.
Work Hours.
* On average, 10 hours per month, with occasional additional tasks as required.
* Flexibility to accommodate occasional emergencies or urgent issues.
Training and Handover.
* A handover period of 20 hours will be provided to familiarize the successful candidate with the system and its operations.
