Position Description.
CGI is looking for an application developer / support engineer to join our onshore application support team.
This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of passionate technologists.
We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an environment using emerging technologies.
The engineer will manage application support activities related to online banking applications for banking client.
Some of these are legacy applications and some are new age applications with the latest technologies.
This position is located in our Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA office, however a hybrid working model is acceptable Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Development and Support Mix and Experience in Installation and configurations • Working knowledge of Dynatrace, Logscale / Humio, Grafana • Working knowledge of database (SQL / Oracle, MongoDB is good to have) • Working knowledge of Openshift Pods.
• Knowledge on API’s, Microservices, Kafka.
• Knowledge on Incident Management, Change Management & Problem Management.
• Perform release / deployment / hotfix activities.
• Strong technical, logical, and analytical skills.
• Strong team player and cooperative skills.
• Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities • Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
o Application Development / Support, Configurations, installation, and Engineering.
o 5+ years of Experience in managing business critical applications in Banking and Financial domain.
Configuring and troubleshooting these applications.
o Experience in building Dynatrace dashboards for monitoring, identifying critical alerts and troubleshooting these alerts before causing any business impact.
o Hands on experience on Openshift Pods, log analysis.
o Hands on experience in leveraging different toolset like Humio, Grafana, SQL, Postman etc.
for different scenarios.
o Knowledge on ATLASSIAN products like Jira and Confluence.
o Able to create documentation like KB articles, SOP’s & release procedures.
o Knowledge on incident management tool like ServiceNow, Remedy etc.
o Demonstrated abilities in Integration of application with database and Web Services.
o Strong problem solving and technical Skills coupled with confident decision making enabling effective solutions leading to high customer satisfaction.
o Experience in working with different Vendors.
o Linux, Unix, Informatica, Database o Strong technical, logical, and analytical skills.
o Strong team player and cooperative skills.
o Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
o Strong written and oral communication skills.
o Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
