biosurfit is a Portuguese diagnostics company focused on the development and manufacture of IVD tests for the point-of-care market with highly innovative proprietary technology and dedicated to the provision of medical diagnostic services.
As a certified laboratory, biosurfit offers different services in health care, from clinical analyses, exams, treatments, homecare services, among others. Additionally, the company created an online platform dedicated to the online commerce of products from supplements, self-tests, non-prescription Medicines (MNSRM) and others.

Job Mission
biosurfit is looking for a talented engineer to join its Research and Development team. The successful candidate will integrate a fast-paced multidisciplinary team in an innovative project for point-of-care diagnostics.
The following skills are required for the post:
MSC in Physics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field;
Knowledge in instrumentation and optics is valorised;
Knowledge of C, C++ and Python is valorised;
Autonomy and organization;
Analytical thinking, problem-solving attitude;
Exceptional team-working and communication;
Eligible for IEFP internship (mandatory)
What you will learn:
Develop electrical hardware components, cable harness and new modules for the spinit® instrument, according to the products requirements and in accordance with industry standards;
Conduct tests and support system’s tests. Write technical documentation such as test reports and test procedures;
Basic electronics and instrumentation tasks;
Close collaboration with spinit® cartridge development team;
Compliance with regulatory requirements for R&D projects;
When required, assistance with existing projects.
