It operation manager

Marco has currently two Main Roles;
· Transition Manager to Vodafone Ziggo where Celfocus has acquired an OSS Software that
are already implemented in 4 different Operators (Vodafone Ziggo, Egypt, Hungary and
Ireland). As part of this deal, Celfocus oversees the full development and Support of the
application;
· Business Developer & Delivery Manager for Africa & Middle East (Safaricom, VDF Ghana,
VDF Qatar, du and VDF Albânia) where Marco is currently responsible for the Delivery of
those Celfocus Support Contracts having 3 Service Managers reporting to him. Responsible
also to generate new leads

Marco moved from UAE back to Portugal with two missions;
· First was to open Celfocus Office at Oporto and to make it grow. During the year of 2014, 100
people was hired and was working in different technological domains and for different
Customers. A huge hiring process was built to achieve the objective and answer company
necessities;
· Second it was to implement the Shared Center Methodologies with people providing services
to different Customers in different geographies
Nowadays, Celfocus Oporto’s Office has more than 200 people and Marco embraced the Role of
Delivery Manager for all Celfocus Support Contracts in Africa and Middle East.
In 2018 a new hiring process was created to achieve a minimum of 80 new people working from
Oporto’s facilities

du is a quad-play (mobile, wireline, internet and TV) telecom operator in the United Arab Emirates.
CelFocus is the systems integration vendor responsible for the Siebel CRM (Customer Relationship
Management) solution deployed at du.
Marco had different roles in the project. He arrived as a Developer and was involved in all the
replication process from Accounts and Contracts created in Billing system and replicated to Siebel (4
months). In December of 2006, Marco was moved to Development Team Leader of the CelFocus
team with a staff of 10 consultants. In March of 2007 he started with the role of Defect Manager that
accumulating the role of Release Manager for 3 months. On August of 2007 he started with a different
role of du Change Request pipeline coordinator. The project was developed in Siebel 7.8 –
eCommunications and was migrated to Siebel 8.1 in June 2013.

Vodafone Egypt is a mobile operator in Egypt. CelFocus is the systems integration vendor responsible
for the Siebel CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution deployed at Vodafone Egypt.
Marco arrived to the project as a developer. Marco was involved in the Trouble Ticketing solution,
integration Siebel – EAI (via VBC’s) and Email Response functionality. In January of 2006 Marco was
moved for a role of Team leader of a Vodafone team with a staff of 5 consultants. The project was
developed in Siebel 7.7 – eCommunications.

Mobily is a mobile operator in Saudi Arabia. CelFocus is the systems integration vendor responsible
for the Siebel CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution deployed at Mobily.
Marco arrived to the project as a developer and was involved in the interfaces development between
Siebel and EAI for Payments made by Mobily Customers on the stores. This development involved
CRM, Portal and EAI teams.
The project was developed in Siebel 7.7 – eCommunications and eChannel.
