About the Role.
We are seeking a Vendor Replenishment Planner to join our team for Metcash.
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the ordering and delivery of Ferrero products to Metcash DCs nationally, ensuring maximum product availability.
You will work to balance demand while achieving logistics efficiencies and sales objectives in partnership with Metcash.
You will drive continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and represent the best interests of Ferrero onsite at the Metcash head office.
This is a contract role for 12 months! Main Responsibilities.
As our Vendor Replenishment Planner, your responsibilities will include.
Leading the replenishment process at Metcash to balance Ferrero’s demand while achieving logistics efficiencies and sales objectives Collaborating with replenishment teams and sales teams to align on key executions & events and improve on forecast accuracy Investigating and resolving alerts, reviewing forecasts for risk lines, identifying & communicating reasons for changes in demand Mitigating any potential out of stocks working with Ferrero and Metcash replenishment teams Conducting DIFOT analysis.
reviewing reasons in detail and working closely with Ferrero to improve service levels Helping mitigate service level hits by working closely with transport companies and DC’s, prioritizing orders when needed and escalating to Metcash replenishment teams when issues arise Who we are looking for.
You will be a degree qualified professional with previous experience as a VRP or in customer service, sales, or supply & demand planning in an FMCG company.
You will be analytically minded as well as relationship driven with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You will have strong Excel skills with knowledge of forecasting and stock management principles.
The key skills necessary to succeed as VRP are being customer focused, organised, and a problem solver.
