About The Role   The Field Clinical Specialist provides high quality technical and clinical support to medical staff (i.
., physicians, health care professionals, nurses) using Boston Scientific’s medical devices.
The support includes on-site technical guidance during live procedures, follow-ups as well as trainings on Boston Scientific’s medical devices and presentation of related clinical studies and scientific data.
Your Responsibilities Will Include   Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system/software development.
Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of certain clinical devices by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.
., slides, manuals) to keep all up to date on the latest product and technology developments.
Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of all clinical systems and their components.
Provides initial and continuous, training and shares gathered feedback on to the team and sales representatives (as appropriate).
Meets with existing and potential clients (e.
., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.
.
through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions.
Works with related personnel (e.
., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
