The Country Service Desk Lead reports to the Country IT Manager and dotted line to the Head of Global Service Desk.
The person will be responsible for.
Act as the escalation point for all Country L1 Service Desk related tickets; Work with other levels In-country IT Services and IT Shared Services to ensure the effective delivery of the in-scope IT services; Identify risks impacting existing IT Solutions, prepare risk assessment and develop mitigation plans for his/her area.
Deliver continual improvement initiatives in his/her area; Provide inputs to decision-making about IT projects, strategic plans, and budget requirements; Contribute to defining a Global Service Desk (‘SD’) strategy and services in line with the IT Strategy provided by the CIO; Execute in-country IT Services and IT Shared Services initiatives in his/her own area.
Advanced English Level (Additional language knowledge an advantage); University education in an IT discipline with post graduate degree in IT or equivalent professional experience; Minimum 5 years of managing increasingly complex IT services in technical environment; Minimum of 3 years of managing IT operations; Experience to work cross-functionally with multinational, remote teams to provide solutions.
