Full Time Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Developing a comprehensive automation strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational goals, quality objectives, and industry best practices.
• Defining automation frameworks, methodologies, and standards to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability across automation projects.
• Designing and architecting automation frameworks and solutions that provide robust, scalable, and efficient automation capabilities.
• Evaluating and selecting automation tools, technologies, and platforms that best meet project requirements and technical constraints.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to automation teams, including architects, developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
• Developing automation scripts, test scenarios, and utilities to automate testing of complex system functionalities, including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Implementing advanced automation techniques, such as test data management, service virtualization, and test environment provisioning.
• Publish Automation Reports and KPIs and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership on automation progress and outcomes.
• Work closely with TCOE Team from client to determine tools as part of best practice – recommend tool selections, licenses, and configurations based on client requirements, budgets, and technical constraints.
• Mentoring team members on automation best practices, design patterns, coding standards, and emerging technologies.
• Evaluating, selecting, and integrating automation tools, libraries, and frameworks to support end-to-end automation workflows.
• Establishing quality assurance governance practices, including quality standards, metrics, and benchmarks, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry regulations.
• Leading quality assurance audits, reviews, and assessments to evaluate adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with project stakeholders, including product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams, to ensure alignment on automation objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Overall 12+ of prior experience as a technical lead/Architect who has handled a team of 15 members preferably at least 1 to 3 years in Banking Domain.
• Automation experience in Experience in Test Complete tool (Minimum hands-on experience expected in Test complete is from 9-12 months.) • Experience of 5+ years in core Java concepts, Jscript, Selenium Webdriver, Maven • Having very good experience of using Wiremock • Handled project independently and handled a team of 10 members at least.
• Should be able to guide the members in technical aspects for smooth delivery.
• Should be able to handle clients and participate in all client calls and address the issues from CGI.
• should be open to adapt new tech stack and should be a team player.
• Experience in writing SQL (data retrieval/update/inserts) on DB2 / Oracle / MS SQL Server.
• Must have experience in REST API / Middleware testing primarily using native/third party Java libraries.
• Good to have, knowledge on SQL server Integration Services Packages.
• Experience in using source code control systems GIT / Subversion.
xperience in implementing continuous integration using Jenkins • Experience in working with ALM.
• Experience in working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Should contribute to innovations and drive initiatives in the project.
