Key Requirements.
- **Document Conversion**.
The existing genealogy document is in a Word format that needs to be converted and formatted properly for printing.
- **Printing Preparation**.
The ultimate goal is to have the genealogy printed as a book.
Your job involves setting up the Word document to meet the specifications for book printing.
- **Indexing**.
You are required to complete the index of the genealogy to make it easily navigable for readers.
Ideal Skills and Experience.
- **Document Formatting**.
You should have experience in formatting long documents for printing, specifically books.
- **Indexing**.
Familiarity with indexing principles is a huge plus.
- **Graphics Design**.
Although the design elements are already done, having a basic understanding of genealogy or book layout could be beneficial, as you might need to adapt the formatting for printing.
This project requires attention to details and an understanding of book printing requirements.
The final deliverable should be a print-ready Word document with a completely indexed genealogy.
