DEPLOY PRODUCTION INSTANCE OF KETTY ON LINUX VMS

The successful deployment will enable the client to leverage Ketty's functionalities to manage editorial workflows.
Project Scope.
Preparation.
Review Ketty documentation ([login to view URL]) to understand system requirements, installation procedures, and configuration options.
Collaborate with the client to gather details about their VM environment (operating system, resource allocation, network configuration).
Define specific deployment steps based on the gathered information.
Deployment.
Build and deploy the Ketty application using Docker.
Configure Ketty according to the client's requirements (database credentials, POD supplier selection, etc.).
Verify successful deployment by accessing the Ketty application interface.
Post-Deployment.
Conduct basic security hardening measures on the deployed application.
Provide the client with instructions for ongoing maintenance and administration of the Ketty instance.
Document the deployment process for future reference.
Deliverables.
Successfully deployed and functional production instance of Ketty on the client's VMs.
Configuration documentation outlining the deployed settings.
Post-deployment instructions for the client.
Timeline.
The estimated timeline for this project will be determined after a more detailed understanding of the client's VM environment and their specific requirements.
Client Responsibilities.
Provide access to their VMs and necessary credentials.
Collaborate on defining deployment requirements.
Review and approve the final configuration.
Freelancer Responsibilities.
Manage the entire deployment process on the client's VMs.
Ensure the deployed application is secure and functional.
Document the deployment process.
Success Criteria.
A fully functional production instance of Ketty is accessible on the client's VMs.
The application is configured according to the client's needs.
The client is equipped with the knowledge and resources to manage the deployed instance.
Communication.
Regular communication with the client will be maintained throughout the project.
This may involve status updates, discussions on configuration options, and addressing any concerns.
