Cloud Developers wanted to join an exciting project to rewrite one of the UK's largest loyalty programmes, opening the door to new and innovative approaches to loyalty.

What you'll be doing:

This is a great opportunity to get involved from the beginning and will require you to be comfortable working with serverless technologies in small autonomous squads within our experienced team of Cloud developers, platform engineers and data engineers.

We keep our knowledge fresh by continually looking for new technologies and sharing what we've learned. As part of our team, you will actively enjoy learning new technologies and developing your skills, and will contribute to this process.

Requisitos do trabalho

What we want from you:

• Developing complex AWS cloud-native serverless applications (AWS Serverless)
• Using AWS Lambda, preferably written in TypeScript, (knowledge of Node.js is useful)
• Using AWS Serverless products, including API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB etc
• Implementing a range of integration patterns, from SaaS APIs to GraphQL to FTP.
• Understanding DevOps principles & VCS (ideally with experience of Monorepos & GitHub)
• Understanding an Infrastructure-as-Code language (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Understanding traditional Design Patterns
• Test-Driven development, with a quality-driven mindset
• Communicating, with excellent written and spoken skills

If you know some of this, even better:

• Diagrams-as-code
• Understanding of modern authentication protocols (OAuth2, OIDC)
• Consideration of cross cutting concerns (e.g. Observability, Security)
• Familiarity with Mulesoft
• Contribute to Open Source projects
