About the role Our Accounts Payable Travel and Expenses team, composed of 8 people, is integrated into the Procurement department and focuses on managing the expenses of collaborators in collaboration with Procurement and Finance.
As an Accounts Payable Travel and Expenses Representative, you will work on posting expense reports in SAP, account reconciliation, and solving errors and problems based on the solutions given in the documentation to support a global market.
You will get the opportunity to contribute to the Travel and Expenses team and have a positive impact on the Group Solvay.
You will be accountable for.
To perform transactional operations on a day-to-day basis, according to operational procedures, respecting service, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction targets.
To strive for continuous improvement of activities in which involved, by submitting/generating Continuous Improvement (CI) ideas.
Run operations in a single ERP - expense processing tool (Concur) Legitimacy check of expense reports Requests for corrections and their validation according to the standard procedures T&E/Pcard administration activities Day-to-day interaction with internal or external stakeholders, using defined communication channels.
Run T&E operations based on Operational Procedures documentation and treat errors that are described in the documentation.
Respect quantitative, quality, and timing targets for the assigned tasks (e.
.
check results/reconciliation of performed transactions).
Ensure up-to-standard service delivery, correct processing of data, and maintenance of the system.
Escalate any process that cannot be performed based on given documentation to a Specialist/Team Leader.
Contribute to improvements with suggestions.
Propose documentation changes/improvements.
Maintain & develop knowledge about group policies, operational procedures, and tools.
Apply Group and local rules, policies, and procedures, within their domain We offer a fixed-term (9-month) contract based on a hybrid working mode.
About you Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Procurement Relevant work experience in Global Business Services in Procurement Competencies.
Knowledge and experience working in SAP environment, especially WP1 PF1 and PI1 (preferable) Fluency in English (other languages are seen as nice to have) Excel/Google Sheets knowledge Behaviors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks Organizational skills Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration About the pay and benefits Attractive and equitable pay for all.

While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is EUR to EUR, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
