I am currently Manager in France (Lille) since January 8th of the production of a range of products of the brand France Combi. I am preparing with the management the start-up of a Portuguese factory (the first unit of the group outside France), scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018. However, the project is delayed and management will invest less than initially planned, which is one of the main reasons for my availability.

Main responsability are to coordinate and guarantee the fulfillment of production objectives, to unblock operational issues, to coordinate and
manage the resources allocated to the activity, ensuring levels of performance and motivation required,
manage and coordinate all activities in the area, including Production control and planning and maintenance
areas, collaborate with other departments to improve costs, automation, layouts and production plan. Prepare
and coordinate Start Up of a Portuguese factory (first in the group outside France), in the fourth quarter of
2018, assuming the management and direction of the production unit in Portugal.

Main Activities in France:
 Manage human resources (coordinate 2 teams of Technicians and Operators (5 days per week);
 Perform and coordinate production planning;
 Coordinate all production activities in order to avoid service problems
 Responsible for implementing continuous improvement (Implementation of a KAIZEN event) of the
affected production areas;
 Improve Factory efficiency by ensuring that KPIs are achieved (Defect Reduction, Cycle
Optimization, Labor Absorption, SMED, Run Time and Down Time), based on the 4-week plan and
in accordance with the Plan of Sales.
 Implementation of KANBAN, SMED, TPM and 5S;
 Manage and optimize the logistics of production resources (raw material, packaging material, final
product components, etc.) so that there are no waiting times and "Down time".

Production Responsable for 9 years at Tupperware Mfg Portugal (Multinational American), which involves the management of five production teams (between technicians and operators). The Portuguese Plant currently has 450 employees and is a reference in terms of results and a pioneer within the group in implementing the Lean Manufacturing Philosophy.

 I have a good knowledge of English and French at the professional level, I successfully managed the transfer of processes and machines (PLASMA and IML) in the Tupperware plants in Europe (France and Belgium) for the Portuguese Plant. I have also successfully participated in the technical transfer of molds already in production among the 12 Tupperware plants worldwide (Brazil, Korea, India, Greece, Belgium, Mexico, United States, France, etc.).

Main Activities:
 Human resource management coordinating five Teams (7 days per week).
 Improvement of Efficiency of the Plant ensuring the KPI’s are achieved (Scrap Reduction, Cycle
Optimization, Direct Labor, Blocks & Dirt’s Material, Reduce Reprocesses Material, Run Time, and
Down Time), based on the 4 weeks and according to Profit Plan.
 Lean Manufacturing Implementation (Coordinate the Foreman’s at Lean-Room received follow-up of the results and give clear instructions of the daily priorities to the Team and for to each one of the 23 Molding Technicians).
 Daily Production Planning implemented with success, with Top Focus in the Service Products & Machines;
 Coordination of production activities, setups and production logistics; Maintenance of molds which are running and machines fast interventions requests;
 Direct Labor management when it was necessary (+/- 140 Molding Operators),
 Process anomaly correction and recording;
 Optimization of the process with the SPC (Statistic Processing Control);
 SMED: Coordination of mold changing
 Kaizen Events Implementation.

Main Projects Developed with success in Tupperware:
 Daily control of scrap trend and analyze it in order to define actions to decease the Top 50% vs defects of the molds there were running, 2016 to 2017.
 Define and control Energy Standards (KWh/lb injected) per mold and optimize mold change with the production control in order to optimize and decrease the Energy Consumption of the Plant, 2016 and 2017
 Responsible of implementation of SMED and IML Kaizen events (on Job, Portugal), 2016 and 2017.
 Responsible of the Training of Good Practices of Manufacturing Audit (GPM), (on Job, Portugal), 2014, 2015 and 2016.
 Controls performance indicators as Fast Cycle Time vs Run Time and increase productivity without sacrificing quality, since 2008 to 2017.
 Implementation of the SPC in the new injection molding machines Engel Duo, to reduce the scrap and guaranty the quality, from 2013 to 2014.
 Consolidate the introduction of a new raw material PP NX 8000 with cycle gain of 3.5% in 2011 to 2014.
 Implementation of a new process audit, for the first time in TW, to control the process in a new very sensitive raw material (Copolyester - Tritan), 2011 to 2015.
 Certification of all molding technicians in 2010 and 2013.
 Blow Molding Start Up (new technology at Plant) in 2013.
 Transfer from Belgium Plant the Grids for Bread Smart (IML) in PP with Electrostatic system 2012.
 Responsible to implement and the transference of new technology in Portugal, of one Plasma Coating Machine from TW France Plant (Tours), which was implemented wit success at 2009.

I am a Polymer Engineer specializing in the Manufacturing. I have been working for 14 years in the manufacturing and management of production teams. I am focus on the results desired by the Top Management of the company in a perspective of continuous improvement.

 I was Production Responsable for 9 years at Tupperware Mfg Portugal (Multinational American), which involves the management of five production teams (between technicians and operators). The Portuguese Plant currently has 450 employees and is a reference in terms of results and a pioneer within the group in implementing the Lean Manufacturing Philosophy.

Before of that, I worked in two French multinationals: as Production Responsable at Bourbon Automobile Plastics Marinha Grande, SA (Plastivaloire Group), which mainly produces parts for PSA in the automotive sector and as Responsable for Programming and Manufacture at Mecânica de Precisão do Vez, Lda  (ABG Group), which manufactures parts for the aeronautical industry, military, medical and telecommunications.

I have been trained and I have already implemented Kaizen methodology (SMED, SCRAP, IML) in the Lean Manufacturing Philosophy.
