• Adviser in transactions (sale of two major oil and refining market players in Europe; acquisition of a global engineering company)
• Business manager and adviser to the Board of the subsidiaries and joint ventures
• Core responsibilities: 
- Compliance of all overseen legal entities with local and international regulations (legal, tax, etc.), in increasingly demanding contexts
- Treasury management of the group funds (Europe)
- International contracting given group needs (Europe)

• Set-up of a Controlling Department to monitor all business activities and ensure adequate reporting to top management and shareholders
• Key projets: 
- Roll-out of renewed budgeting and forecast processes for entire organization with weekly and monthly cyles
- Definition and implementation of internal audit procedures

• Redesign of financial reporting and implementation mySAP

• Coordination of operational and financial internal audits across EMEA region, including sales, production and corporate processes

• Improvement of efficiency and quality of accounting, invoice control, COGS, Legal, Tax and Ownership Rights (during high growth period)
• Consolidation and reporting in US Gaap, IFRS and HGB  
• Restructuring of finance area and internal/external communication processes
• Implementation and compliance with global corporate guidelines 
• Implementation and key user of SAP FI/CO and SD
