This system will enable students to engage with lesson material by listening to pre-recorded audio clips, recording their own voice using their computer's microphone to repeat the sound, and then receiving a score based on the comparison between the two audio recordings.
Key Features.
Audio Playback.
Allow students to listen to pre-recorded audio clips embedded within the lesson content.
Voice Recording.
Implement functionality for students to use their computer's microphone to record their own voice as they repeat the audio they hear.
Audio Comparison.
Develop an algorithm to compare the student's recorded audio with the original audio clip and determine the level of similarity.
Scoring System.
Provide a scoring mechanism to evaluate the student's pronunciation or performance based on the comparison results.
User Feedback.
Display the score and provide feedback to the student, including suggestions for improvement if applicable.
Progress Tracking.
Integrate the system with our learning management system (LMS) to track student progress and performance over time.
User-Friendly Interface.
Design an intuitive and easy-to-use interface within WordPress to facilitate the audio learning and comparison process.
Preferred Skills.
Proficiency in WordPress development, including plugin creation and integration.
Experience with audio processing and analysis, particularly in the context of voice recognition or comparison.
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and possibly Python for audio processing algorithms.
Familiarity with audio libraries or APIs for voice recording and comparison, such as Web Audio API or SpeechRecognition API.
Ability to collaborate effectively with our team to understand requirements and integrate the system seamlessly into our existing platform.
