About the role.
Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and talented engineer to join our Capacitors team.
You will have the opportunity to support product and process development from concept to commercial.
You will be partnering cross-functionally with a technically strong, experienced, and highly engaged team.
The successful candidate for this position will be self-motivated, technically strong, excited to motivate and lead others, and drive ownership to challenging process development opportunities.
In this role the candidate will work cross-functionally to develop capable processes and technologies on new products and ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production.
Key deliverables may include being process owner.
In this role you will work directly with the capacitors team to develop, improve, and validate processes.
The candidate may qualify equipment and/or tooling, create equipment recipes, collect & assess the data, and communicate the results to your team.
The successful candidate for this position will provide strong leadership and problem solving to enable medical device innovation.
Use your technical and collaboration skills alongside your passion for innovation and continuous improvement to drive growth through efficient and effective commercialization of new products and targeted improvements.
This is a hybrid position based in Arden Hills, MN with the expectation to be on-site four days.
Your responsibilities include.
Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design & develop processes and advance tooling and/or automation.
Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes.
Develops, writes, & reviews process validation strategy and related deliverables to meet quality system requirements (e.
., Experiment tech reports, GR&R, TMV, IQ, PRAs, etc.)  Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
Develops experimental strategy and presents technical data and recommendations at technical reviews.
Works cross functionally to lead, own, develop, & deliver capable and robust processes and equipment to operations.
Oversees development builds associated with the project using special work requests.
May serve as core team member or extended team member on new product projects.
Minimum qualifications.
BS in Engineering related field and 2+ years of experience post education in an engineering role.
Experience with Process Verification and Validation  Demonstrated engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications.
Excels in a collaborative, cross-functional, cross-site environment.
Expertise in New Product Development  Fixture and equipment design or trouble shooting experience (CAD experience not required).
Medical device or other regulated industry experience.
