Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Job Description.
As discussed please find below the F5 & WAF JD.
• 6+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing F5 LB & WAF solutions in enterprise environments with a focus on both on-premises and cloud-hosted deployments.
• Ability to configure, deploy, and manage LB &WAF solutions.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Creates WAF rules/signatures to mitigate threats and implements best practices.
Working Knowledge of application security principles and experience in configuring WAF policies to protect web applications against common threats like SQL injection, cross -site scripting (XSS), and others.
• Must have F5 BIG-IP LTM experience such as VIPs, Pools, Monitors, SSL certificate renewals, Device group, High Availability, F5 Upgrades,Profiles, SNAT, Automap, Self and floating IPs, iRULES etc.
• Good Troubleshooting skills on F5.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LB & WAF configurations, performance, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of LB/WAF configuration settings, including load balancing algorithms, SSL termination, health checks, and WAF rule sets.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, and other networking protocols relevant to LB/WAF deployments.
Familiarity with security principles such as encryption, authentication, access control, and data protection, as well as security best practices for LB/WAF configurations.
• Experience with deploying and managing LB/WAF solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Awareness of various tools and technologies used for web application security testing, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
Primary Skills.
Experience in designing, implementing, and managing F5 LB & WAF solutions in enterprise environments with a focus on both on-premises and cloud-hosted deployments.
