The Funcom team consists of over 400 people located in 5 studios - Norway, the US, Portugal, Sweden and Romania.
As part of Funcom’s ongoing growth, and completing a successful turnaround, Funcom is now backed by Tencent, the largest online gaming company in the world! Now, our Game Development team needs an experienced and talented Lead UI Programmer.
Your Mission in Funcom In this position, the right candidate will be overseeing a team of experienced programmers, aligning with multidisciplinary teams of programmers, designers and artists, and will have the chance to make a significant impact in the development of our in-house games.
As a Lead UI Programmer at Funcom, you will coach senior team members to perform to their best ability, provide feedback to your team on their performance and own development of large UI features, while using your experience to improve the usability and accessibility of live products and craft the user experience of products still in development.
We are looking for someone that has.
5+ years of experience in UI programming 1+ years of experience leading a team of programmers General Programming experience also beneficial Previous games industry AAA experience and published titles Experience in UE4 and UMG will be a significant advantage Good knowledge of C++ Strong communication skills (English is our working language) An interest in keeping up to date with the newest trends in UI in the industry We evaluate candidates on an ongoing basis and recommend candidates to apply as soon as possible!
