HUB LEAD ENGINEER

Do you have a technical understanding and experience in mechanical & structural engineering or similar? Power Solutions & Vestas Quality > Aerodynamic & Mechanical > Hub Structure Hub module oversees, maintain, and develop the complete Vestas Hub program.
The tasks range from structural engineering over to highly specialized FEM calculations, requirements definitions, risk management specifications, certification of components, DFMEA, test planning and execution.
Hub Structure is a submodule within the Hub module.
We are responsible for the structural design of Hubs, development of structural design software and for updating and maintaining the structural design guidelines and manufacturing specifications among other relevant tasks relevant for the Hub structural design.
Responsibilities Provide daily support to the team members in a wide range of technical issues ensuring quick and effective choices Improve the system engineering area by owning the D-FMEA and P-FMEA Coordinate cost-out initiatives ensuring a continuous flow of innovative ideas.
Develop the team technical leadership competences and autonomy by mentoring the area functional lead and the junior staff.
Support the submodule owner with review and sign-off of technical deliverables Support the submodule owner by coordinating various business critical tasks.
