Descrição da Função Your new company  We are seeking a qualified Senior Financial Controller to assume a key role in our investment management firm.
As a critical partner to the CFO, you will be responsible for managing financial operations of the investment firm and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, playing a vital role in the strategic financial direction of the organisation.
Your new role 1.
Financial Planning and Analysis  Develop and execute financial planning of the firm, in alignment with the firm's long-term goals.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to inform decisionmaking processes.
Present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management for strategic planning.

Financial Reporting and Compliance.
Oversee the accurate preparation of financial statements of the firm and funds in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate timely and accurate completion of audits.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.
3.
Reporting to Investors, Regulatory Agencies, and Internally.
Prepare and present financial reports for investors, ensuring transparency and providing insights into financial performance.
Interface with regulatory agencies, ensuring all financial activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain internal reporting mechanisms to keep various departments informed about financial performance and key metrics.
4.
Risk Management.
Identify and assess financial risks, proposing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
5.
Cash Flow Management.
Manage and optimise cash flow by closely monitoring receivables, payables, and liquidity.
Develop strategies to maximise working capital efficiency and minimise financial risks.
6.
Technology and Systems.
Evaluate and implement financial systems and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to financial management.
7.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement.
Effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Collaborate with executives, department heads, and external partners to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
MBA or CPA designation is highly desirable; 3 to 5 years of auditing experience in a Big Four accounting firm; or 3 to 5 years previous experience in a senior financial role within the investment management sector preferred; Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and investment strategies; Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis tools, and ERP systems; Strategic thinker with the ability to drive financial initiatives aligned with organisational goals; Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement;   What you'll get in return You will have the privilege of working in a company with a  highly dynamic and international environment!
