To support our growth we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance team in Portugal or Spain.
We are now looking for an experienced financial controller to manage and develop our finance function together with local and group stakeholders.
As the Financial Controller at EVA Global youll get to tackle the accounting and finances of one of the most interesting and fastest growing companies in the EV industry.
Your exact role can be adjusted to your professional experience and personal interests but will mainly consist of the following elements.
Key Responsibilities.
Reporting to the Group controller you will be responsible for undertaking the daytoday and periodical closing activities of EVA Global parent and subsidiary accounting.
Processing and analysing accounting data and ensuring that related controls are performed in cooperation with our accounting partners globally.
Working with business partners to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assisting with treasury audits query resolution and resolving discrepancies.
Responsibility for the Netsuite ERP and other related financial systems as the main user Making recommendations on how to improve and further automate processes and procedures.
Contributing and supporting our fastgrowing global finance operations in general.
Required Skills.
Minimum bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance Administration or equivalent At least 5 years of relevant handson accounting experience with Finnish accounting standards and IFRS knowledge is seen as an advantage Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in English Finnish and/or Spanish skills are seen as an advantage.
Knowledge of financial processes related legislation and systems in an international environment Experience of using NetSuite is seen as an advantage.
Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel.
Good interpersonal and communication skills in a multinational environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.
