Director – Consulting Product Management for Payments & ESG Mastercard Data & Services (D&S), the professional services arm of Mastercard Worldwide, provides insights, consulting, marketing, and analytics to financial institutions and merchants worldwide.
With its unique category expertise, deep understanding of customer needs and successful track record in addressing complex challenges throughout the payments lifecycle, Mastercard Data & Services addresses the challenges and opportunities of its clients, enhances Mastercard's strategic and tactical performance and establishes Mastercard's global thought-leadership pre-eminence.
The role is part of the Payments Practice Group which covers a wide range of Consulting products offered by Data & Services and is organized along the following practices.
Card Payments, Authentication/Authorization & Fraud, Digital Currencies & Innovative Payments, Acceptance Solutions, Open Banking, Multi-Rail/B2B and Sustainability & Financial lnclusion (ESG).
It is the mandate for this team to drive development and promotion of highly configured consulting solutions in order to drive efficiency in business development as well as project delivery.
Within this team, the Director – Consulting Product Management for Payments & ESG role is global in nature and responsible for Product Management, including.
• Full P&L ownership for a subset of consulting products in the Payments Practice Group • Determining and driving forward the product innovation agenda and product road map • Ensuring successful sales of the consulting products through Data & Services' global sales teams • Ensuring flawless delivery of the consulting products and maintaining the highest standards of quality in our customer relationships • Development of thought leadership/points of view documents to help establish an internal as well as external narrative for D&S' role in the associated practice areas Candidates for this role will likely have answered ‘yes' to the following questions.

Role • Accountability and end-to-end responsibility for delivering top and bottom line success globally • Ability to effectively build and prioritize the consulting product roadmap for a subset of products with a commercially-oriented go-to-market planning and in close collaboration with peers and practice leads • Innovative leadership to continue evolving our product suite and drive future success by focusing on identifying and developing solutions that are scalable and drive recurring business for Data & Services • Interface with Mastercard units across the organization to represent the suite of products • Provide expert sales support and ensure close partnership with the Sales team • Ability to be a client-facing expert sales resource • Development and refinement of Delivery models to ensure flawless and efficient Delivery • Work closely with the D&S Practice members, D&S Segment team, New Product Development team, and Delivery teams • In collaboration with the Sustainability & Financial Inclusion practice, create thought leadership and develop training curriculum to deepen acumen and expertise across Data and Services, including o Authoring commercial whitepapers o Curating Webinars o Creating a library of relevant case studies • Support the Mastercard Advisors Sales and Delivery teams both to secure new customers, supporting the refresh of sales materials and narrative, and providing our customers with a first-class experience All About You • Possesses a passion for the consulting space and an appreciation for the potential • Experience with proven track record in project management, with the ability to demonstrate leading initiatives from strategic planning through tactical execution • Ability to quickly learn about new technologies, demonstrating subject matter expertise and industry thought leadership • Results driven, solutions and customer focused, with strong business acumen and sense of urgency • Demonstrated ability to take accountability and drive to desired results with passion, ambition, and aptitude • Demonstrated strong self-awareness, open to different approaches and ideas.
