Job Details Role Summary As part of our investment into Technology, Operations and Product, (COMPANY NAME) is looking for a dedicated DevOps Engineer to enrich our Data Engineering practice, to provide thought leadership in driving the future of our Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
You will partner with our architects and product managers to implement our strategy, delivering new technical capabilities and services which will be instrumental to the end-to-end adoption and delivery of (COMPANY NAME)'s ambitious Data Product roadmap! Reporting to (COMPANY NAME)'s Technology division, this role will provide technical expertise in maturing our DevSecOps practice, supporting the "secure-first" approach to automating the provisioning of enterprise-grade data infrastructure and data applications.

Key Responsibilities Engineering Excellence * Responsible for designing, building, and optimising the automation processes for provisioning data infrastructure and data applications - via infrastructure-as-code * Standardise and streamline build and release pipelines - CICD * Configure and administer platforms and services, bridging the gap between Data Engineering and Data Operations across the stack * Support operational activities by ensuring platforms and infra for data pipelines are optimal, recoverable, and easily scalable to meet the capacity demands * Provide incident management oversight - root cause analysis, stakeholder communications, post-mortems, and manage preventative measures and resolutions * Drive improvements in operational efficiency for all services * Actively involved in deployments of platform and data pipeline artefacts * Ensure security, high availability, and disaster recovery are always front of mind * Continuous monitoring of cost and risk - with a view to reducing and mitigating * Ensure production and non-production environments stay in sync through the alignment of stable standards, code and configurations * Identify relevant emerging trends and build compelling cases for adoption e.
