If this describes you, and you are looking to join a business where you can really add value, it is time to consider joining NBS!   Position Summary The main purpose of this position is to serve as the point of contact for Zones and Markets, efficiently coordinating, optimizing, evaluating, and managing market packaging adaptation requests with the appropriate internal or external partners.
The role involves working closely with markets and agencies throughout packaging adaptation projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects aligned with brand guidelines and the design intent master files from Global Brands.
Additionally, providing guidance and support to partnered agencies or internal teams, monitoring project progress, costs estimates and POs, and ensuring effective collaboration between stakeholders are included in the key responsibilities.
The job also includes reviewing design briefs, supporting service transitions, coordinating projects, managing estimate/charge-back approval flow, and driving best practices within the adaptation area when it comes Design Excellence for their assigned brand.
A day in the life of...
-Be the one point of contact for Zones and Markets efficiently evaluating and coordinating market packaging adaptation requests to the partnered adaptation agency or in-house team.
-Work throughout the packaging adaptation projects with the markets and agencies, being the main point of contact for both sides, with aim to deliver high-quality projects aligned with brand guidelines and design intent masterfile -Provide guidance and support to partnered agencies to ensure a thorough comprehension of the project briefing and design feedbacks, leading to improved project delivery.
-Responsible for communicating and tracking the final Design Services cost charged to the Markets with Integrated Marketing Services Financial team.
-Oversees project management for internal and external design teams, determining the allocation of new projects to either external agencies or the internal team.
Additionally, ensures project schedules are effectively controlled within the agency and Nestlé.
-Ensure Packaging Adaptation Briefs quality are following Design Excellence best practices.
Responsible for escalating adaptation briefs that are not aligned with brand guidance and/or Nestlé Standards.
-Monitor the progress of Adaptation projects with external agencies and/or internal team, addressing any issues or concerns from them.
Provide regular updates to the Brand’s Stakeholders and Design Services team to guarantee effective collaboration between the teams.
- Support the coordination of the transition of services from Market/Business to Adaptation Services.
-Identify development opportunities for Adaptation services for the assigned brand and support collection/tracking of demand plan.
-Ensures that all work product adheres to Nestlé Design Global Ways of Working, including the use of all digital tools (D2D, Frontify, DAM), and collaborates with other IMS teams for tagging of masterfiles and URDs.
-Take on a leadership role in driving best practices and optimizing processes within the adaptation area, guaranteeing the partners are following the Design Excellence ways of working.
What will make you successful • +4 years of experience in managing projects of identity adaptation with a focus on packaging, in agency or client side, with demonstrated ability to ensure brand consistency, especially with Global Brands.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and manage priorities and timelines.
• Experience in budget and project schedule control.
• Extensive experience in building strong client relationships and leading projects, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across multiple reporting levels.
• In-depth understanding of managing the development of fit-for-purpose packaging assets and masterfiles.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Design, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
• Experience working with digital workflows, DAM, and document management • Understanding of digital file formats for packaging design and artwork masterfiles and related assets • Eye for design detail and passion for driving understanding and consistency.
• High standard of English (written and spoken), other languages ideal.
