Job Description We are looking for  Data Migration Expert for Azure Cloud to join our Migration team, who is responsible for the migration of all File Shares from on-premise to Azure cloud, ensuring that the migration is fit for purpose, delivered at its best and in time, complies to company security guidelines, retains customer satisfaction, and it being enhanced continuously.
Competencies.
Migration of on-premise file shares to Azure Cloud File Service in a planned and controlled manner, in alignment with Management Expectation.
Maintain and control the major migration backend infrastructure and scripting to ensure a seamless data migration without data loss and 100% data integrity.
Setup, Operation and Maintaining of the migration backend infrastructure in Azure Identify bottlenecks in the migration process and mitigate those in coordination of other internal services and providers Orchestration of Providers regarding File Share Services based on-premises and Cloud technology.
Contribution to the major technological changes, supporting project-based work and key project milestones, while keeping a reliable and secure daily operation.
Contribution to solution design activities, review of solution design results and support of build & test as well as work on related customer demands.
Providing user support at L3 level regarding migration topics, ensuring acceptance.
Ensure that Migrations operate in a reliable and efficient manner and are compliant with defined processes (e.
.
“confirmation of delivery”) as well as ensure the Cyber-Security guidelines and processes are followed.
This may include assisting with the configuration and maintenance of high-availability and Disaster Recover solutions.
Monitoring and Reporting of the quality of Service regarding stability, performance, security for all Migration topics Partnering with internal or external Service Providers and Cyber-Security teams to initiate changes for continuous service improvements and ensure reliable Service delivery.
Maintaining regular contact with users and customers for migration topics.
Qualifications Higher technical education (university level), preferably with experience in the technology industry.
Proficient knowledge in IT infrastructure backend architecture (servers, storage units, Active Directory, user devices, and Network) Enhanced Azure Cloud knowledge Migration experiences in enterprise level companies Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products f rom an end -user perspective.

Experienced in working in an international, remote and cross-functional environment.
Enhanced Microsoft concepts knowledge (Active Directory, Server) Enhanced Powershell scripting knowledge Understanding of network topologies, network protocols and firewalls Languages.
It is mandatory for consultants to be business-fluent in English language (speaking and writing).
German understanding is a plus.
Passion for business processes and underlying IT architecture and new / innovative IT technologies.
ITIL Foundations Certification Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
