We are seeking for proactive, engaging and responsible candidates with a strong background in consumer chargebacks.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping to manage all credit card chargeback transactions.
Responsibilities.
As a Chargeback Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for the communication, research, resolution, and posting of high volumes of credit card chargeback transactions.
You will be working in a multi-client/system environment, utilizing established processes and driving process improvements.
Your responsibilities include.
Analyzing, researching, and processing incoming chargebacks through the billing platform.
Providing evidence/documentation to support investigations into fraud and dispute claims.
Ensuring adherence to deadlines and escalating issues to supervisors.
Managing chargebacks for the company by determining their validity, identifying the root cause, and implementing a plan to prevent future occurrences.
Collaborating with different areas of the company (sales, operations) to handle chargebacks effectively.
Identifying recurring violations and working with necessary parties to reduce or eliminate them.
Identifying fraud trends and assisting order management with review of potential fraudulent orders Preparing reports on metrics and status of chargebacks with comments.
Assisting with other projects related to chargebacks and fraud as needed.
Qualifications 2+ years' experience with chargebacks and consumer fraud via ecommerce.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work accurately with billing transactions.
Proficiency in Windows, office.
Proficiency in Power Bi (preferred but not required).
Ability to work independently.
