Cloud Computer Engineer "You like the challenge and cutting-edge technology; you want to be part of our Digital Business Transformation in the passionate world of containers and Kubernetes, then come and jump into the engineering position of our container product within the multi-cloud environment" CONTEXT (COMPANY NAME) has been driving a Cloud transformation for some years already.
Today, we've moved forward in elastic workload through the containerization of our application.
To maintain and govern a global and standard Kubernetes infrastructure, we're looking to re-enforce our Team with a cloud hosting engineer specialized in container and Kubernetes technology.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? You'll participate in the standardization of our container infrastructure offer.
You'll oversee the implementation of complex and clever mechanisms of automation and infrastructure as code.
You're used to working with or have been part of a dev-ops team and are fully aware of the agile methodology and developers' autonomy.
Your knowledge of GCP, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Anthos products is extended to large enterprises and projects.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? With proven experience in the specific field of the needed technology, you're now ready to step into a new role and bring your experience and ideas into our strategy.
This position requires a set of skills that are listed below.
* Excellent communication skills and autonomy in following tasks and assist project * Fluent in English mandatory only; other language a plus * In-depth understanding of the principles and best practices around Agile patterns and processes * Considerable knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Alicloud is a plus * Extensive experience in the deployment of Kubernetes GKE (GCP) * Extensive knowledge of K8s security and network policies * Substantial knowledge of implementation of zero-trust networking in K8s (infrastructure + application-to-application) * Additional experience with Google's Anthos is a plus * Experience with Istio is a plus * Proficient with Terraform (IAC) * Extensive experience in scripting & automation * Hands-on experience with Container registries and CICD pipeline * Apply software engineering best practices (test automation, documentation, code review, etc.).
