CLOUD AND SYSTEMS SECURITY ARCHITECT - PORTO

What are you going to do? • Design and deploy security architectures for the MC's computer systems and networks; • Develop, construct, and implement high-level security systems for a cloud environment supporting production; • Align standards, frameworks, and security measures with the overarching business and technology strategy; • Formulate and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information; • Conduct security assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities and propose effective mitigation strategies; • Collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure secure system design and development practices; • Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies; • Provide guidance and training to staff regarding best practices in information security.
What are we looking for? • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; • Proven experience as a Systems or Cloud Security Architect or in a similar role; • Exhibit a robust understanding of cloud computing technology, infrastructure, and cloud management platforms; • Familiarity with security designs in various cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP); • Possess a strong knowledge of information security principles and practices; • Demonstrate familiarity with diverse network and host-based security applications and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and encryption technologies; • Be acquainted with industry compliance and security standards such as NIST CSF, NIST SP, QNRCS, NIS 2.
, OWASP, CIS Controls, Mitre Att&ck, and the ISO series; • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; • Written and verbal communication skills in English (B2); • Available to work from Portugal (with resident permit or EU passport).
