The Clinical Sales Representative (CSR) provides clinical support to assigned accounts at a territory or regional level.
Work is driven by the CSR’s account planning of their priority accounts (T1 & T2), customer needs and by selling the next case through BSC sales processes.
This field-based permanent position supports our TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implant) product portfolio and covers the North of England, from the Midlands up to the boarder of Scotland.
Your responsibilities will include.
Driving clinical sales of the Boston Scientific TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implant) portfolio across the UK (up to 100% travel).
Dividing your time between clinical case support and training activities (70%), and commercial sales with existing customers and new business development (30%).
Operating remotely in a field-based position, managing sales and clinical activities autonomously.
Collaborating with the Account Manager (AM), you will contribute to the development of the annual strategic plan by providing the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), National Sales Manager (NSM) and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.
., market size and potential, market / products trends, business opportunities, competitor landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders, etc.).
Supporting the National Sales Manager in understanding account needs and expectations to facilitate effective strategy and plan development.
Supporting medical personnel and field staff during procedures after clinical training.
Point of contact and consultant for the medical management and medical staff.
Identifying, managing, and reporting to the National Sales Manager regarding sales opportunities derived from clinical support; consequently, supporting the Account Manager and National Sales Manager in clinical sales.
Maintaining market share of BSC accounts by delivering excellent product in-servicing, evaluations, and continuous procedural education.
Attending and actively participating in customer, company and industry sponsored events and meetings.
Supporting sales teams in gathering information about tenders and negotiation opportunities.
Developing and implementing a proactive plan that involves service support with National Sales Manager and team members to increase quality of service.
Performing procedural training, providing clinical support, and therapy development, and managing clinical evaluations to support and deliver excellent product in-servicing and product evaluations, ultimately securing BSC market share.
Recording data and activities in the CRM system.
Performing periodic updates with respective Sales Force and Commercial Contracting organisation.
In this remote field-based role, you will be responsible for covering the North of England and may on occasion be required to support colleagues on a national scale.
What are we looking for in you? Industry experience within commercial clinical sales of TAVI portfolios, or alternatively, with other coronary medical devices.
Proactive and innovative team member that thrives working autonomously.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
A passion for remote field-based work.
Willing to travel extensively as required by workload (up to 100% across the North of England).
A degree qualification within a scientific or engineering subject is beneficial.
