Position Description.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Director to sell the full suite of CGI’s services and solutions (including Custom Application Development & Maintenance, Engineering & Testing Services, Infrastructure Solutions, Business Consulting Services, Business Process Services, and Information Technology Services) for our Pittsburgh metro.
The Director is focused on scaling acquisition accounts before transitioning these to a larger Client Leadership team.
Focus is on hunting opportunities, generating healthy pipeline within acquisition accounts.
However, the hired candidate will have an opportunity to manage delivery of new accounts over time if desired.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Leverage connects with CXOs, Sr.
Directors and/or decision makers in starting new relationships with new customers • Driving growth through hunting new opportunities • Work closely with Metro leader(s) in identifying opportunities, leading discussions and driving business problem solution efforts.
• Establish connects with Analyst, Third party Advisors & Partners • Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products/services • Providing regular reports and updates on sales activities and performance • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years’ experience selling digital services, around Applications Development & Maintenance, Data, and Cloud or Information Technology Outsourcing.
• Experience working for a Consulting or SI Firm, Onshore/Offshore sales.
• Strong client network in the Pittsburgh metro area.
• Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role working with both business executives and technology teams.
• Demonstrated success selling deals in the $2 to $50M range.
• Demonstrated consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution-selling model CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
