Position Description.
We are seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our CGI team in Salt Lake City, UT! This is a full-time career opportunity in supporting a leading global client This opportunity is located at client site in the Salt Lake City area.
• Documentation of recurring problems and facilitation of problem management between site-based teams and global teams • On-site troubleshooting of key systems with logistics personnel, interaction with field technicians, and coordination of bug resolution between 3rd party vendors Must be based in Salt Lake City, occasional site visits required (1-2 times a week on average) Due to the nature of the application supported, may be required to assist on incident outside normal business hours Your future duties and responsibilities.
How you'll make an impact • Ongoing care and support of logistics / finished product shipping systems • Documentation of recurring problems and facilitation of problem management between site-based teams and offshore teams • On-site troubleshooting of key systems with logistics personnel, interaction with field technicians, and coordination of bug resolution between 3rd party service providers, sales teams and logistics teams at site Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
What you'll bring 3 to 6 years experience in the following.
• Experience with break-fix of software applications • Proven expertise in troubleshooting.
ET/C# apps - / ASP.
et web apps and delivering minor improvements • Proven ability to maintain relational databases and troubleshoot MSSQL queries • Experience in logistics systems development & support, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Interfaces, and Card Reader/Badging systems • Being able to work in person onsite • Mostly work from office, but ability to work in construction/hazardous area on need basis “CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
