Power engineer

Designed automation and control solutions for medium-voltage power distribution systems. Daily tasks included; software development, factory and site acceptance tests and commissioning. Supported maintenance operations and the development of technical documentation. Technologies I worked with include: SIPROTEC 4 and 5, SICAM AK 3.

Worked with the company’s corporate University providing training plans for the employees in the power generation field. Daily tasks included matching training with business requirements, evaluate students’ progress and design new learning tools. Acquired transversal knowledge on the energy business.

Major in Energy: High and medium voltage systems; electrical machines and energy transmission.
Minor in Electronics: Radio frequency, low voltage systems, nanocircuits and analog systems.
Master thesis: Development of a multi-agent platform (in JAVA) to estimate residential energy consumption (by combining thermal and Markov chain models) with load optimization using genetic algorithms.
