In REN, the Portuguese electricity and gas Transmission System Operator (TSO), I worked on a European project called “Capacity calculation in South-Western Europe”. To that end, my function was to conduct a sensitivity study to detect which transmission lines are more sensitive with changes in their interconnection power and understand the impact in the Portuguese electrical grid. Later, this study will be used by the European entity CORESO to compute the commercial interconnection capacity between Portugal and Spain.
