JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in engineering and expertise in managing technology projects to join a Risk Department in an Investment Bank.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading endtoend highimpact projects with regulatory or cost optimization drivers with a focus on implementing technology solutions.
This role involves overseeing programme governance stakeholder management strategy consulting and business analysis in the context of risk management within the financial services sector.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES Programme / Project Management.
Lead the execution of highimpact projects including early warning detection and programme recovery as necessary with a focus on technology implementations.
Programme Governance.
Establish and maintain programme governance and control mechanisms including budgeting planning and senior management reporting.
Strategy Consulting.
Provide expertise in Business Operating Models Capital and RWA impact analysis Business Expansion Market Entry strategy Breakeven Analysis and strategic technology vendor selection.
Business Analysis.
Conduct business process mapping gather and document Business & Functional Requirements and utilize UML Diagrams for requirements capture.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE Stakeholder Management.
Effectively manage and coordinate decisions and negotiations with senior stakeholders.
Target Operating Model Design.
Develop comprehensive target operating models encompassing business processes people systems data and controls.
People Management.
Lead crossgeography operations and technology project delivery teams effectively.
Enterprise Data.
Implement Data Governance Frameworks establish Data Dictionaries and ensure Data Lineage.
Banking Understanding (differentiating factor).
Comprehensive knowledge of Fixed Income Securities Wholesale Market Operations Money Markets and SFTs Interest Rate Derivatives Credit Derivatives and Lifecycle Events OTC FX and Equity Derivatives and Commodities TOOLS Proficiency in MS Visio for Requirement Modelling process mapping project roadmap design and milestone planning.
Experience in MS Project for creating detailed project implementation plans.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred.
Proven experience in project management strategy consulting and business analysis within the financial services industry with a focus on technology implementations.
Excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
