They are building out a development team in Bogota and they are looking for a Lead Front End Engineer to mentor and collaborate with other experienced developers to design, develop and implement solutions, enabling their users to navigate the complexities of global credit markets.
Responsibilities Architect and implement scalable, high performance web applications.
Lead and mentor team of front-end developers.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure quality through code reviews, testing and performance optimization.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in front-end development.
Drive tech initiatives from end to end, with an understanding of the backend as well.
Qualifications 7+ years experience with front-end development Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS Strong knowledge of modern frameworks (Vue, React and/or Angular) Strong understanding of software architecture Experience in Tailwind, pixel-perfect design is a plus Unit tests, consuming Figma and using Storybook, are pluses Some backend coding experience is a plus (preferably in PHP, Python or C#) Excellent communication skills and proficiency with English to collaborate with global teams Extensive research capabilities to be able to tackle challenges that arise
