Currently, Keyrus is seeking an experienced Microsoft Synapse Tech Lead to spearhead a large-scale migration initiative for a banking institution's data infrastructure.
This project involves transitioning from legacy ETL systems like SQL and SAS DI to the modern Azure Synapse platform.
You'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the migration strategy, ensuring seamless integration, and overseeing the technical direction to ensure a successful transition.
Responsibilities.
Lead the end-to-end migration, providing strategic direction and overseeing the entire migration process.
Architect migration strategies, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Mentor and guide the team, resolve complex technical issues, and provide thought leadership.
Collaborate with stakeholders, communicate progress, risks, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with best practices, security protocols, and data governance standards.
Requirements.
8+ years of experience in data migration projects, preferably in financial institutions Proficiency in ETL tools (e.
., SQL, SAS DI) Expertise in cloud-based data platform Azure Synapse Demonstrated leadership and project management skills Strong ability in problem-solving and navigating complex technical challenges Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or having a work permit for Portugal Nice-to-Have.
Certification in relevant cloud platforms or data migration tools Experience in implementing data governance frameworks Exposure to Machine Learning or advanced analytics At Keyrus Portugal, we offer.
