Purpose Statement Design, definition, development, and approval of manufacturing software used in Process Development and production of medical devices.
Under limited supervision or as member of a team, conceptualizes, develops, executes and delivers solutions for low to moderate complexity manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities Under limited supervision or as part of a team, designs and develops software programs for new equipment and update software for existing equipment where necessary.
Interact with external SW development vendors as part of a team or individually.
Provide guidance and assistance with the preparation of validation documents, software design specifications, and associated documentation.
Participates on project teams to develop clear specifications, evaluate feasibility of concepts, and provide estimates for System designs.
Develop machine control software and integrate this software with controllers, motion controllers, vision systems, and other instrumentation.
Prepare software design specifications and associated documentation for equipment and systems.
Participates on project teams to develop clear specifications and evaluate feasibility of concepts.
Provides guidance, training, and direction on Software validation to staff across various functions.
Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analysing activities to improve workflow and work processes.
Review and approval of Equipment Software validations with reference to the applicable procedures Investigates, researches, selects software designs, operating systems and/or practices.
Integration of Vision, Robotic, PLC equipment into new and existing systems to facilitate communication to BSC systems as required by system design.
Experience   Hons Bachelors Degree in related discipline  Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a regulated environment Proficient in.

C#, VB or equivalent.
Experience with SQL read/write queries and SW process flow development.
Knowledge of Cognex Vision Pro, Allen Bradley/Siemens/Beckhoff PLCs, Labview an advantage   Requisition ID.
