These resources include surgical interventions, normal prosthetics, and wheelchair use.
This project aims to offer a comprehensive outlook on how these resources can be best utilized, and what impact their allocation might have on patient outcomes and overall healthcare delivery.
Ideal candidates for this project should possess.
- Proven expertise in health modelling and forecasting - Experience working with healthcare data; particularly surgical interventions, prosthetics, and wheelchair use - Strong skills in statistical analysis and predictive modelling - A robust understanding of Markov decision processes - Flexibility in approach, with a focus on reliability and accuracy The final model should not only forecast potential outcomes but also enable us to understand the effectiveness of surgical intervention versus normal prosthetic usage, and wheelchair use.
