RESEARCHER - OPTIMIZE MIXTURE AND BLENDING STATIONS

English Portuguese HyLab's ultimate goal is to establish a globally recognized Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D+I) cluster with a strategic agenda focused on enhancing hydrogen competitiveness and creating new products and services.
Additionally, the HyLab will drive innovation by addressing the essential components of the supply chain necessary to facilitate a hydrogen-based economy and promote the creation of skilled and value-added jobs.
Its primary objective is to bridge the gap between academia and industrial ecosystems in the implementation of green hydrogen, thereby accelerating the energy transition and addressing the challenges associated with it throughout the entire hydrogen value chain.
The HyLab brings together esteemed national and international R&D institutes, academic institutions, industrial companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, and hydrogen-related technology manufacturers.
We are looking for a Researcher who will have the mission to lead research in your area of expertise and contribute to adjacent research areas.
You will be challenged with.
Coordinate research of HyLab teams and projects in their area of expertise; Report to the Coordinator of the Research Line, the Scientific Coordinator and Collaborate in the construction of the HyLab Scientific Agenda; Collaborate with the business area in identifying opportunities and preparing proposals and applications; Collaborate with the Board in the Report of research activities.
Who are we looking for.
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar… Good programming domain in Python, C++, MATLAB, COMSOL, OpenFOAM and/or Ansys-Fluent.
Good knowledge of fluid mechanics and transference and energy and mass mechanics, characterization, and diagnostic technology in mixing processes.

O HyLab envolve valiosos institutos de I&D nacionais e internacionais, academias, empresas industriais, pequenas e médias empresas (PMEs), startups e indústrias de fabricação de tecnologia relacionada com o hidrogénio.
Estamos à procura de um(a)  Researcher  que terá a missão de liderar a investigação na sua área de especialização,  otimizar as estações de mistura e de homogeneização, e contribuir para áreas de investigação adjacentes.
Principais desafios.
Coordenar a investigação das equipas e projetos do HyLab na sua área de especialização.
Reportar ao Coordenador da Linha de Investigação, ao Coordenador Científico e colaborar na construção da Agenda Científica do HyLab.
Colaborar com a área de negócio na identificação de oportunidades e na elaboração de propostas e candidaturas.
Colaborar com a Direção no Relatório de atividades de investigação.
Perfil procurado.
Doutoramento em Engenharia Mecânica, Materiais ou semelhante.
Bom conhecimento de mecânica dos fluidos e transferência de energia e massa, caracterização e diagnóstico de tecnologia de processos de mistura.
Bom domínio de programação em Python, C++, MATLAB, COMSOL, OpenFOAM e/ou Ansys-Fluent.
Nível de proficiência em inglês C1.
