Within Bosch Home Comfort, you will join a growing area of development of Electrical Solutions, the new and improved heating solutions for a sustainable future, Heat Pumps.
You will be part of a cross-functional team, within an international environment, developing heat pump solutions which will be assembled in different Bosch plants around Europe.
You will contribute to all phases of product development, contributing with your innovative ideas and solutions for successful product launch, optimizing costs assuring quality standards on a timely manner.
For that you will.
Lead technical purchasing activities for new parts and components, drive purchasing Time-To-Market (TTM) process in Heat Pump development projects; Drive technical discussions with suppliers and engineering, conduct supplier visits; Monitor and report (Purchasing) project achievements; Initiate, coordinate and bring forward preventative quality; Focus on target costing, identify cost improvement ideas with suppliers and engineers, support costs estimation and tracking; Prepare supplier awarding for new parts, ensure the project schedule in respect to part deliveries; Involvement in Innovation feasibility projects.
Qualifications What distinguishes you.
  Education.
Academic background in industrial or mechanical engineering, with additional commercial/business qualification; Experience.
previous experience in purchasing of engineering products and/or solutions, preferably in commercial and project areas; Know-How.
understanding of strategies to structure and lead negotiations is a plus.
Heat Pump components knowledge is valued; Working Style and Methods.
Structured and analytical way of working.
Ability to take responsibility for own work and initiative to drive solutions implementation.
Ability to work in an international team environment and in a cross-functional team; Personality.
Results-oriented and pro-active attitude.
Good communication and leadership skills; Language.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Willingness to travel.
