As a Senior Project Manager specializing in cybersecurity in BC for the Transportation Client at CGI, you will contribute to the success of multiple IT projects and initiatives for our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Deliver expected project margin/profitability • Obtain, validate, and understand the cost models and project profit margins for all assigned projects • Build and maintain relationships with client executives and various project stakeholders internally and externally • Define the functional structure of the project; prepare work plans for planning and scheduling of required resources • Complete various activities to deliver projects by creating the project charter and integrated work plan, in addition to creating change requests and close-out reports • Participate and oversee planning, design, implementation transition, and handover activities • Must be able to participate in onsite meetings in Metro Vancouver, when needed • Plan, coordinate, lead, and communicate the activities to ensure that project objectives are met • Ensure good management of activities, quality results, and implementation of CGI quality processes • Ensure project audibility • Contribute to quality client satisfaction appraisals throughout the delivery of your projects Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 8+ years of successful project delivery experience with financial accountability • Proven experience working with clients on information technology and cybersecurity project-based initiatives as a Certified Project Manager (PMP) • Experience implementing organizational change processes • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of client satisfaction • Superb communication and presentation skills in providing pertinent and detailed information to clients and delivery / operational teams • Experience with various project management frameworks and methodologies, specifically Agile Desired qualifications.
• Project delivery expertise in diverse technologies specific to cyber security, cloud, and infrastructure • Knowledge of NIST framework, and essential understanding of security and compliance programs Additional education, skills, and certification.
• Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or any combination deemed equivalent • Certified Project Manager (PMP) certification.
• High level of proficiency with methodology and project management tools, such as Microsoft Project • Experience with cybersecurity projects (infrastructure, application or cloud projects considered an asset) • Demonstrated success in the implementation of high-priority, complex projects • Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence all stakeholders to achieve objectives • Capacity to work at all levels of the organization • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
