s a Program Buyer Quote Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our programs by accurately costing materials, preparing cost estimations, and maintaining direct contact with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery terms.
Your ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different countries and think creatively to improve processes will be essential for success in this role.
osting materials to ensure that the correct level of components cost is provided on time to support customer changes during the program lifetime.
repare accurate and timely cost estimations to support program requirements.
aintain direct contact with suppliers to obtain the best prices and negotiate favorable delivery terms, aligning with Aptiv's strategy.
ork closely with different teams located in different countries to ensure the best level of knowledge and collaboration.
upport the implementation of Category strategies and assist in the selection of the best cost components.
ctively participate in team meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to decision-making processes.
emonstrate the capacity to observe and "think out of the box" to provide inputs aimed at improving processes and tools.
xa0Your Background .
egree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
revious experience in procurement, cost estimation, or a related field within the automotive industry is preferred.
trong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
xcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
roven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
etail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
dvanced level in Excel is mandatory - PBI skills are a plus.
bility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
