THE ROLE Were creating a loved brand in Europe and this is where your story begins! As Barkyns Procurement Manager you will support the Operations team on making Barkyn an optimised procurement purchasing and stock rotation machine.
You will help define and structure a procurement strategy and process for Barkyn.
You will play a major role in evaluating suppliers offering against key business criteria and the required product specifications negotiating purchase agreements and optimizing already existing processes.
Specifically we expect you to.
Support the creation and implementation of a procurement strategy for Barkyn; Implement procurement related processes internally and with our suppliers; Negotiate and create contracts with our suppliers; Control and manage multisupplier (Worldwide) and multiwarehouse (Europe) stock and purchasing; Drive cost reduction initiatives reduce stock costs through inventory turn optimisation MOQ negotiation and payments to suppliers; Drive and control the S&OP monthly process and plan stock purchases by product and by warehouse together with the Sales Marketing Data and Finance teams; Optimize stock distribution routes between warehouses; Lead the Purchasing department; Research and identify prospective suppliers.
Mandatory.
5 years as a Procurement Purchasing Specialist or Stock Management Control Fluent in both Portuguese and English Good working knowledge of procurement and purchasing strategies Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills Detail oriented & rigorous Brownie Points.
Degree in business administration supply chain management or a similar field preferred.
Knowledge of PET industry would be an advantage Experience in overall logistics processes including distribution and warehouse management.
Dog owner.
