Your main task would be to develop a system that allows Raspberry Pis to share updates with nearby devices offline.
Key Requirements.
- The system should be designed to share updates specifically with other Raspberry Pi devices running Raspbian, offline.
- The purpose of sharing these updates is to cater to locations with limited internet access.
This is essential for our project as it ensures that the devices can remain updated despite the lack of connectivity.
- The system should be able to initiate the update process automatically.
This means it should be able to detect nearby devices and share the necessary updates without requiring manual intervention.
Ideal Skills and Experience.
- Proficiency in Raspberry Pi hardware and software, particularly in working with Raspbian and understanding its update process.
- Strong experience with AWS Greengrass and IoT services.
- Previous experience in developing systems that facilitate offline data sharing or update distribution.
- Adept at creating automated processes, specifically those involving device detection and interaction.
