To effectively coordinate Material engineering, Corrosion study activities of the EPC project, during the detail design and follow up of Procurement and Construction support phases Duties and Responsibilities Details.
- To define the material selection report for the project in coordination with Process dept.; - To develop the Piping Technical specification and Material requisitions according to project indication.
Main documents to be provided are.
o Material Requisitions.
o Supply specification (including RDDS) o Technical Specification o Mechanical Data Sheet o Inspection Data Sheet (IDS) o Technical Bid Evaluations - To check the correct uploading of piping classes in the 3D model archive, according to Project 3D Model Procedure, - To cooperate with Piping PSL during piping MTO issue; - To attend and coordinate the Supply KOM and proceed with relevant vendors follow up; - To cooperate with other disciplines for the comment and follow up of material/painting/coating related issues; - To perform the Vendor follow-up technical support, if required by other disciplines.
- To ensure the Client follow-up technical support, if required by PSL.
- To provide technical support during bidding phase Work Experience Requirements.
- Material Engineer with a minimum stay of 3 years in the role being able to preside individually the full life cycle of a EPC project.
- Consolidate knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Material Engineering and accurate competences of techniques and tools.
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, leadership qualities and efficient team management skills, adaptability and stress tolerance Soft Skills and Competencies.
- With excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driven and focused, committed on high level of performance timely delivery of projects - Willingness to be a change agent - People management attitude - Detail oriented and methodical - Collaboration and teamwork - Note.
Able to read, write and speak in English.
Education Requirements.
- Laurea Magistrale and/or Specialistica (as well Chartered Engineer, A-levels + 5 years study) or Laurea Triennale (as well Higher National Diploma HND or Certificate HNC, Alevels + 3 years’ study, BTS/DUT or equivalent).
- Diploma Work Conditions.
Head Engineering Office or on Site if required Other Specific Requirements.
