Description of the Department.
The Global Business Services (GBS) team is an organization established within Boston Scientific designed to reduce cost, provide value through reporting and improve the efficiency of key business processes by taking opportunities to drive standardization, leverage resources, knowledge and skills and monitor the effectiveness of service delivery against benchmarks and service level agreements.

About the role of Magellan Specialist GBS.
In this role you will be a Specialist in the EMEA Magellan program.
The Magellan program is responsible for upgrading our current SAP ECC ERP system to S/4/Hana.
The Magellan program is a value-driven business transformation, leveraging a state-of-the-art ERP platform, that will modernize the processes, ways of working, and technology that it takes to make and deliver products and services to our patients.
The program is in progress since end of and aimed EMEA go live is Aug .
All activities need to be performed timely and accurate as all GBS activities are performed on agreed program timelines.
The activities will require working together with multiple regions and countries and building business relationships with a variety of customers, stakeholders and relevant support functions.
The work will be performed in a team where a lot of interaction is required to ensure all activities are done.
Your key responsibilities will be.
⦁    Cleansing of aged AP record.
Responsible for analyzing vendor aging, e.
.
blocked invoices, payments, downpayments, etc, and aligning with vendors and local finance teams for resolution.
⦁    Supports Global Process team, Service Delivery Operations and Magellan team with functionality design for the purchase to pay process ⦁    Support with testing (drafting and executing test scripts) of PTP activities in the new S/4/Hana and MyBuy S4 system ⦁    Train team on the new functionality in the PTP area.
Training forums may include but not limited to group, 1.
, and online training ⦁    Quality.
Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
