Department Overview Motorola Solutions is expanding the engineering team in Lisbon with Junior Java and React Full Stack Developers.
As Java and React Full Stack Developer you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge web applications in micro frontend and backend microservices that enhance our products.
You will be integrated in a cross-functional team with autonomy to develop and deploy new features in a CI/CD environment.
Each cross-functional team includes devops, front-end and back-end and fullstack engineers that work closely with designers, product owner and product manager to create great features and delight our customers.

Job Description Responsibilities.
- This software development role is to develop microservices using Java language and micro frontends using React.
- To design, develop and deploy efficient and scalable front-end and back-end solutions in the cloud in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Comfortable with learning and using new tools and technologies in the software development sphere and sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
Basic Requirements Minimum Requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years experience in Java and java frameworks (Spring Boot, JPA) - 1 year experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript and React - Professional or academic experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Experience in Cloud Technologies (Azure) - Experience with Terraform cloud automation - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming - Knowledge of micro frontend and micro service architectures - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.
