FREELANCE TALEND DATA ENGINEER

You will work on complex projects and the successful consultant is expected to be operational instantly.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes using Talend ETL tools to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources into their data warehouse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement data integration solutions that align with business objectives.
Optimize and enhance existing ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
Build and maintain data pipelines for real-time data streaming using Kafka (preferred) or other similar technologies.
Work with data architects to design and maintain relational databases, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data engineering issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in data engineering and integration.
Profile Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on ETL development using Talend ETL tools.
Solid understanding of relational databases (e.
., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and experience in designing and optimizing database schemas.
Experience with data streaming technologies, preferably Kafka, and the ability to build real-time data pipelines.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.
., Python, Shell) for data manipulation and automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.
., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.
., Docker) is a plus.
Relevant certifications in data engineering and ETL technologies will be considered an advantage.
