This role main functions is supervising and managing operations of the health club to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, ensuring all are run efficiently.
Is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.
Job Summary.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching all the health club associates; Assist meeting revenue targets and overall department annual budget; Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved; Create monthly promotions and marketing ideas for the business and align it with the marketing department; Implement and support any new activities/procedures as discussed with the manager; Manage inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and proceed in order to restock them when necessary; Ensure full knowledge of membership offers, fitness services and retail products; Ensure all the tools, facilities, equipment and maintenance requests are working well and and repaired on time; Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure continuous service and programme improvement; Provide further consultation to ensure that all the reservations are made and sales are closed.
Requirements.
Positive Leadership Attitude; Dynamic Attitude; Initiative and team spirit; Attention to detail and high organizational capacity, sense of responsibility and rigor; Good communication skills.
Education/Professional Experience.
Degree in Physical Education; 3-5 years previous experience in the function.
Language Skills.
Good communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
