The department Public Address is concerned with the development of hardware and software solutions for the PRAESENSA Public Address and Voice Alarm systems.

The work includes all stages of product development from a feasibility study to final test and release of the product for mass production.

Job Description As our new  Test Automation Engineer  you design and create automated tests for our software.
Key areas of responsibility are.
Design, code, unit-test and document the software for the C# test framework Design and implement Behavior-Driven Development based tests using Gherkin, Cucumber Refine user stories and decide what tests to automate and how Document the requirements and design of the tests and the test framework Implement User story tests, Performance and Load tests Decompose the design into user stories and tasks and estimate using planning poker Ensure smooth operation of testing like e.

daily testing, exploratory testing and release testing Plan the order of development in Sprints, focusing on achieving continuous integration Operate according to Agile/scrum principles Keep abreast of technical developments in own field through study of literature and technical contacts Strong drive for continuous improvement Submitting defects of failing tests Execute manual testing to support the system testers while performing release testing Qualifications   You have a university education in computer or software science at Bachelor level or higher You have at least 5 years of experience in C# You have at least 5 years of experience in Blackbox, GUI testing, Gherkin, BDD, Cucumber You have at least 5 years of experience in software testing (happy flows, boundary testing, coverage) You have fluent English language skills (verbal and written) You are able and willing to work at least 3 days per week at the Ovar office You are willing to work in Eindhoven/Netherlands 1-2 weeks per time several times per year You have an understanding of the SOLID-principles and how to apply them in software design You have experience in Python programming language You have specific knowledge of relevant design & modeling methods like e.
